The Motor Teardown begins

In these pictures you will see the slow teardown to longblock
of this motor. I will not need to pull the heads as the motor
only has 157,000 miles on it. It is just getting broke in.

Found a surprise Field mouse nest in the Intake Valley
of this motor. I did not find any wiring issues from this.

I pulled the Valve Covers and Oil Pan to begin the internal
inspection of this motor.
A lot of old oil varnish but all looks good.

This is a key part as to if the engine is considered a Front Sump,
Center Sump or rear Sump engine. This flange and the associated
pan, anti windage plate, and pickup screen, are the parts you
change for different applications of this swap.
